Haven't played the Nioh games (yet) but the original Dragon Quest VII is one of my faves, and the last main series Dragon Quest game was really great as well :3

I tried playing CK2 as a teenager and found it too confusing to get into, is CK3 better for someone who hasn't played many strategy games?

CK3 is easier to learn and more roleplaying especially with, the overhaul mods.
Also better adult mods since some adult mods use the 3d models to actually have a sex scene...

I heard Zebras can’t be domesticated because they evolved to be highly aggressive and unpredictable, often biting at faces and kicking extremely hard, making them resistant to human control.

Oh, I hate JRPGs. They usually lock you into set characters with set moves. Pokémon also has fixed moves, but you get way more choice because there are so many Pokémon to build from.

I recommend Loverslab for adult mods like
CBO (Character Body Overhaul Unofficial one since the original is no longer updated)
Some animation with compatch if you can find one
Carnalitas, Then the compatch for what Mod you are playing for AGOT or Elder Kings.
Or any other popular overhaul mods with compatch for the adult mods...
Still waiting for Avatar to release so I can capture Kyoshi in a run....
Also hope the Fallout mod really happens since the wasteland Fan Fork is too boring for me.

Oh, I hate JRPGs. They usually lock you into set characters with set moves. Pokémon also has fixed moves, but you get way more choice because there are so many Pokémon to build from.

I generally just pirate the DLCs but some people do not like pirating dlcs in their steam account since they fear getting banned which has never really happened in paradox games since it is a single player mostly game. Even when i got scared of bans if I used my main steam account I just have a original base game for easy access to updates and workshop and have a full on pirated latest version.

I played Dragon Quest I on an emulator, but I had no idea where to go, and it felt pretty on-rails, so I ended up dropping it. Which entries in Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy actually let you experiment more with strategy?

Have you played Fire Emblem or the Mother / EarthBound series? Fire Emblem is a bit too turn-based for me, but I’ve heard you can switch classes, with two or three options per promotion, so the build possibilities get pretty wild.

Still hate the magic memory wipe used to erase spiderman's identity in the comics.
616 hate they try to make everything that has happened canon and make stupid reason to wipe the past somehow.
Still...I think at this point Peter is just a cuck loser that got his body stolen....get worn like a condom by octapus man and prove Peter was an idiot....
Peter has no real relationship...all his LI generally move on from him and he even got cucked by paul...
Even Gwen is now given to Black spiderman to cuck his stories...

I like spider verse but still hate the making another Gwen to just give away to Miles. Still Best Gwen is isekai Gwen...Gwen Poole who is technically not a variant of Gwen but then again she has the power to alter her own background so maybe she is or she can be...

Have you played Fire Emblem or the Mother / EarthBound series? Fire Emblem is a bit too turn-based for me, but I’ve heard you can switch classes, with two or three options per promotion, so the build possibilities get pretty wild.

Final Fantasy X has a wide skill tree system that lets you branch out (even if few of the enemies are really tough enough to require/reward you for strategising too much) and my fave is FFXIII (which is extremely on-rails for the first ~25-30 hours so if thats a deal breaker than probs wont win you over :3) which is imo the hardest mainline FF game and really lets you branch out your characters and get pretty in-depth

Dragon Quest feels like it stuck to the base 80s/90s JRPG formula in comparison and none of the ones I've played get too crazy with the gameplay, altho I do love DQ3 and DQ9 alot for their worlds

I havent played much Fire Emblem (I do need to tho :3) but I love Earthbound! Haven't played Mother 1/3 tho and it's been a while since I played Earthbound, defi need to give it another go <3 (one of my faves for sure)

On the topic of strategy-JRPGs I also loved playing Disgaea 1/2 even if they get a bit over the top with their grindiness :3

Oh I also talk about it too much but the combat in Persona 5 Royal is one of the most perfected turn-based combat systems, and even tho the game is very easy it feels constantly really satisfying :3 (but is a glorified VN for the most part)
