I kinda get this as well, as someone who is usually at my computer when I see people not respond to my messages for like 12 hours+ I start to question if they're ignoring me :3

We all have those moments

With closer friends I think you can kinda understand them more than others you aren't the problem

I used to do this, then I tricked my mind like I'm writing to a pen pal. If they don't write back I'll just pretend the mail man did something.

I usually just move on to the next person. You get used to it after normalizing it through experience. Because you don’t want to come off as relentless or harassing to women. I apply that rule to everyone now. Equality and all that.

What actually peeves me more is when people reply to my comment but don’t react or upvote it. Lewdcorner has spoiled me, honestly. I know, I’m a dopamine addict.

Man, my laptop finally gave out today. The audio was crackling all day and then, of course, after I hit it out of frustration, the sound just died completely. Classic.

I’ve been using this thing for almost 10 years, so I figure I deserve a new one at this point, but I still want to repair the old laptop too, just in case I need a backup.

This machine has been through so much with me. The battery even bloated (super dangerous, could’ve exploded), so I had to remove it myself.

And to top it all off, I just bought a new phone, so my budget is already tight. Anyway, does anyone know a good mid-range gaming laptop under $1,000?

At least there’s a silver lining: the audio still works if I plug in an earphone. When I disconnect it, there’s a faint crackle and then silence.

I asked ChatGPT, and it said something about the speakers being blown or disconnected internally from a fall. I had just praised it for surviving a fall… and, of course, I jinxed it myself.

I’ll take it in for repair, but they might not have a replacement in stock since my laptop is out of production. I’ll try anyway, maybe ask the salesman if there’s something in my budget range. Wish me luck.

be careful with that battery, it is a fire hazard! lithium batteries tend to swell like that and it should really be disposed of i am sorry to say...... if it does decide to combust, which is extra likely if you drop it (again... ) the smoke itself is very toxic and such fires are very difficult to put out. many of the early e-scooters had this same problem with their batteries, as well as many phones.

Haven't played the Nioh games (yet) but the original Dragon Quest VII is one of my faves, and the last main series Dragon Quest game was really great as well :3

CK3 is easier to learn and more roleplaying especially with, the overhaul mods.
Also better adult mods since some adult mods use the 3d models to actually have a sex scene...

Oh, I hate JRPGs. They usually lock you into set characters with set moves. Pokémon also has fixed moves, but you get way more choice because there are so many Pokémon to build from.

I’ve heard JRPG stories are great though, so I guess a lot of people play them mainly for the characters.
