Only positive to the Ram prices is that maybe developers wont assume that gamers are going to upgrade their PCs every 3 yearsYup, I think this is the biggest thing. Why bother optimizing, compressing, and removing unused files if you don't have to? Ark had a filesize of like 400GB if you had all the maps installed.
I really game devs really now coming optimice games better. I think we can almost half game system requiment just whit more optimal coding. We are goed so long way in times when code was really super efficiency ways like times when ps1 was thingOnly positive to the Ram prices is that maybe developers wont assume that gamers are going to upgrade their PCs every 3 years
There is no innovation without constraint.I really game devs really now coming optimice games better. I think we can almost half game system requiment just whit more optimal coding. We are goed so long way in times when code was really super efficiency ways like times when ps1 was thing
Even easier than code optimization is simply not including massive movie-quality cutscenes. Easily save tens of GB and lower production costs at the same time.I really game devs really now coming optimice games better. Gotta catch em allRIP Discord. Demanding age verification is bs. Didn't know they could get away with that anywhere but the US.
Also Mods visit my profile I'm trying to collect all of you like Pokemon! Some of you are limited edition now...

Dark atmosphere is good Muhad thinks. Will have to overcome Muhad's dislike of escargotI played Expedition 33, and it was probably my game of the year too. Phenomenal writing and voice acting, fun game play, gorgeous looking, a soundtrack I listen to even outside of game, it was damn good.
Granted that's mostly opinion based. It can come across as a bit.... depressing, at times, which not everyone may like. But yeah, good game. Wasn't the only good game, others may have preferred others. Like, I found 'Blue Prince' incredibly frustrating and annoying, just never clicked for me, but it topped quite a few lists too.
No not yet, but but it is the first solo game I'll play when me and my friends finish Space engineer run.Did you play it?
May I recommend FitGirl Repacks? She compresses games into sizes that people with limited bandwidth can actually manage. She also separates games into optional language packs, music, and even credit scenes, all of which you can opt out of downloading. This modern games need so much hard drive space. Kingdome Come Deliverance takes about 120GB just for the download. This will be a long night clicking "I'm not a robot".
So this fit girl, she just takes game and makes the game smaller?May I recommend FitGirl Repacks? She compresses games into sizes that people with limited bandwidth can actually manage. Be careful, though. There are fake sites that imitate FitGirl’s official site. I recommend checking Reddit threads where people have already discussed which one is the real site.
It’s worth it, imo. Big games usually get cut in half, while smaller games are often reduced by about one-third to two-thirds.
Not to sound like a boomer elitist, but old games really are where it’s at. Great stories, gameplay that doesn’t hold your hand, and tons of freedom to do whatever you want. They’re also usually pretty long, from a time before content was cut up and sold as DLC.That is crazy! On the one hand, awesome realistic graphics are cool but not so cool If I can only fit one or two games on my rig at a time. I Might have to stop being so cheap and spring for some decent storage.

Any suggestions for a fan of RPGs/ action/ adventure games? Not to sound like a boomer elitist, but old games really are where it’s at. You could easily get 300 hours of content for, what, maybe 10 GB at most? The playtime-to-hard-drive-space ratio is way better than with modern games.
The only real downside is the sometimes janky controls, but for some people that old-school jank is part of the appeal.
