Ugh....

Once had a pizza from Dominos in Brisbane where the pizza dough was made as if it was for a croissant... horrible. Adding sugar ... damn.

That is just wrong.

I need to make a confession related to food horror.
I once ate sausage dunked in chocolate. It was horrible.

it really depends on the restaurant, but 70% of the time it will be savory

it gives..... a interesting contrast....

Absolutely. Not quite as common as things like cherry or apple, but they exist.

Yes and it's actually not bad, unlike pineapple pizza.

Somehow I get the feeling, that people don't have problems with pineapple on pizza or in pies, but have problems with the pineapple itself.
Pineapple didn't die for our sins, but didn't hurt anyone either.

As a pineapple lover myself, I'm not a huge fan of pineapple pizza XD. Sweet pizza is fine (I ate ice cream pizza a while ago and it was great), but pineapple is sour and it overpowers all the other toppings.

Sorts must be differ highly. I never ate a sour pineapple, except when it was not ripe. All pineapple that I had here had a mild sweet flavour.

Could be a region/climate thing too. Pineapples around here are known as a sweet and sour fruit, so I've never eaten a pineapple that is just sweet. In that case, maybe it could be good on pizza after all.
