Sooo, what if we are allowed to convert SOME of out AC to the new currency at a % you and berg seem fit? Obv not millions or billions, but some. I'm more of a lurker, so that's where my suggestion is coming from.
We talked about it and we decided we don't want it, we don't want to favor the AC richest people. If you want to talk about capping the amount of AC that could be exchanged, like 10k for example - that's more reasonable but I don't see why would it be something desired. I want to feel everyone equal and promote meaningful interaction with the forum. That's my personal opinion.
Edit: Old users are given benefit of their ranks being grandfathered, I think that's a lot already.
Greetings, just wanted to say this straight up: I'm not banning anyone for sharing a complaint with me. no matter if it's totally reasonable or absolutely idiotic. That's not how I roll. I believe everyone should feel free to speak their mind.
And honestly your feedback is the biggest thing that helps us improve and keep making things better. We really do listen and fix stuff based on what you tell us.

i got a notification that states " Your transaction for the event DragonByte Shop: Trade was rejected" idk if that was the trade me and matt did. it was a trade with AC coins

I mean, to each their own. You say "promote meaningful interaction with the forum" and all I see is ppl calculating how many shitposts they need to be able to afford something from the store, be it a rank, cosmetic or else. They even openly admit to it here. "Stick to shitposting and you'll make it bro", "Damn, I wonder how many posts I need for X amount of coins", etc. Its ridiculous and FAR from being meaningful interactions. Now, you say "I want everyone to feel equal" and I agree with this, but I'm failing to see how ppl having more coins than others makes them special or different.
Say User (A) has 1000 AC and User (B) has 10 AC. User A has been around for a couple months while user B has only been here for a few days.
If a conversion is done at 10%, it leaves User (A) with 100 coins and User (B) with 1 coin. Wouldn't you say this is more fair and resetting both of them to 0 (insert new currency name)?
As for why would it be something desired, I think it's self explanatory.
I'm not proposing a 10% conversion, that was just an example. And I do believe any conversion should be capped.

Being grandfathered is very nice and I'm not saying it's not enough. In fact, I think it's VERY generous considering how much shit H gets on a daily basis from ppl who love to complain about dumb shit. All the LC staff do a great job at managing the site and I appreciate their work.
I'm just saying, implementing a new economy is tricky and, as much as I agree with most of the things you (Kernist) propose, lately your answer to most feedback regarding coins, bank, or anything of the sort, is usually "Fuck em", which is, in my opinion, too simple and leaves something to be desired lol. If H shuts ts down, I won't bring it up again. I just mentioned it since Apollo say he's open to all feedback, even if it's idiotic lol.

Exactly, you are right on the mark, system we have now promotes bullshit posts and this is the meta way of farming coins. That's why we will introduce new system, to fight exactly what you said. All the millionaires, do you think they got their AC by contributing something meaningful or by "shitposting" in this thread and by clicking a button daily that gave them percentage of the coins earned that way? That's why we don't want any conversion, rewards for gathered AC etc.
I prefer to avoid releasing information in bits, especially when in my opinion the earning table alone is meaningless when the prices of ranks are not set yet.

2: The Shop Ranks and cash reset: Is that all shop rank to be purchased, or all shop ranks that have been purchased? I ... I ... I ... oughta Knoohoooow!
