Yeah, just noticed the prices of everything went up. Not upset, cause honestly I have no control either way and I am not emotionally invested enough to care that much. Does mean that my purchase of P4 & P5 gets bumped an extra 55k coins.

Which by my murder math still means it gets delayed another month at least.

There can only be a single interest rate (I linked to a screenshot of the settings page Angelic shared in discord earlier in the thread). Anything else would need custom development (which based on the Latest Updates would happen some time after the second cumming).

I think technically the originally proposed P1 "solution" was a somewhat clever hack where everyone technically had the same interest rate, but only P1 and up would actually be able to access the bank page to take advantage of that interest rate (hence the whole "losing access to coins in the bank" thing).

Oh sorry, didnt saw that, P1 solution seems interesting but I'll leave it to figure out for smarter people and will try to enjoy forum as before for now, but might be hard to catch up with all these changes

Yeah, it kinda sucks that Prices went up since it doesn't affect the people they were bitching about having too much money in the slightest and only affects the 'poors'

I'm only interested in getting P4 for the customization nonsense and while I could technically get it right now, my balance after would not be accruing interest as fast as I want so I will have to hold off on it longer

I kind of get it. I think there might be some concern about restricting access to the higher tiers because of a lot of the changes to rhetoric in the world as a whole. If that's the case, I would much rather they raise the bar than close it off entirely.

And yeah it doesn't affect the millionaires at all. They can't hear any of us complaining over the sound of themselves counting money.

@mercury.games I have always given more coins away than any other user on the site. Back in the early days before there were any millionaires on the site, I had given away hundreds of thousands.

It's why I started using it to help fund contests and such.

Contests are the "beneficial use" I was missing in my advocating "just restrict trading unless there is some beneficial use" instead of the bank/interest changes. Theoretically admins/mods could coordinate prize distribution for contests, enable trading for like 5 minutes, then turn it back off (if they can't just edit balances directly).

I also still fail to understand the inflation "problem" in general. Yes, some people have millions or billions of AC, and sometimes give away a bunch. So what? What is the actual harm that justifies any change at all?
