I like the fact that they were new and original.
So many reused assets get annoying.

That was the reason I avoided LoML because they were new and original looking. We get so conditioned to like the same cookie cutter girls we see all the time again and again and again in games. By the time chapter 4 of it came out.. I was like.. fuck it.. I'll give it a try. Fucking love it.. the story is great.

Unique are is nice but only when they appeal to the eyes, I like ton of hand draw animated stuff like What a Legend,Parasite Black and Null Hypothesis.
I am fine with unique art whether drawn or 3d but I can't stand the weird looking noses...if it is the MC at least I won't be looking as his face most of the time....

yeah i tried rewind the only real issue visually is that its animations were a little cluncky it kinda felt off but it was not really bad it was just a little weird

Here's another reject when I was trying to get her to play ping pong, her eyes are supposed to be green, she looks slightly Asian (not that there's anything wrong with that, just not was I was going for) and her left hand is a little funky.

I think it looks great, and about the left hand you have to take a really good look to have a feeling that something is slightly off. But even then it's nothing major, and it looks perfectly normal in comparison to the Cronenberg monsters AI usually makes.
