For games, it kinda depends on your tastes. I love management games so stuff like Brothel king, venus club, and monster black market floats my boat, but they arent for everyone.
As for the hate for the other site, I think it has to do with their mods being a bit full of themselves (to put it nicer than I've seen others put it lol)

Yeah, I can understand that, It's still a really good place to find these kind of games, but the environment could really end extremely vanilla, still, if there is some pressure (e.g. country rules, paying agencies like ptron o SS) I could see why they fold.

Mmm, good question, probably the extremely resource manager games that it's more grinding than everything, or the games that have an extremely disconnected gameplay (why some game have a fucking match 3), but I really like game with good to complex stories, who are as well balanced in terms of scenes and lore.
