Wine coolers, a nice flavored ale (I'm partial to a nice Redd's Wicked from time to time though I prefer my liquor), Rumchata, Malibu Coconut Rum.. just the few off the top of my head if you're looking for IRL suggestions.

Wine coolers are definitely good for that, definitely the go-to for most of the people I know who don't like alcohol much. Also recommend gin sours if you're not into sweet drinks.

Thanks I'll have to check those out, I have a hard time enjoying drinks because of my picky tastes

Haha. I understand.

My wife is the same (which isn't me trying to put you down implying you have girly tastes, I assume you're a guy).

If you ever want to talk the devil's nectar - feel free to reach out. I've helped more than a few friends find their chosen poison.

I feel this. I have zero reaction gifs/pics saved throughout my internet lifetime cuz it's just now how I'm used to interacting. I have no idea how the peeps here seem to find the perfect gifs to reply with, it's legit impressive.
Ya, I almost never save gifs either. My experience tells me the best way is to just use a simple search term in the gif search engine, usually integrated in most social media, which relates to the sentiment you want to convey, then choose the one that speaks to you the most. Maybe it's a reference you get, or just seems funny/weird. Either way, people tend to respond to authenticity.

It's a shame you didn't hide it behind a spoiler to force people to click to see it. :ROFLMAO:

Back-reading caught up. Played Remnant: From the Ashes for a short session. It was fun and I'm itching to play more. Has anyone played Balatro? My friend is currently obsessed with it and it sounds right up my alley being that it's poker and deck-building. What are your thoughts?

Is this any good? I see it's marked as abandoned.

This is in my long list of games to play. Please let us know what you think of it.

Between 6 hours and 66 days approximately. :ROFLMAO: It really depends how often you post and if you make posts that people engage with. Welcome! 💚

Still fascinating yet somewhat terrifying.

Thank you Laz, it feels good to be welcomed. 💚

I'm not sure what you are trying to say...

I suggest you please leave the bra on.

Time to fire up an AVN and then hit the bed. I bid you farewell and leave you this sleeping beauty kitty...

Balatro is really fun. Getting your score to go ridiculously high is very satisfying, lots of unlockables and it has a handful of different decks that give you different bonus.

Broke away for a drink and a snack, so checked in...
Hey Tosser, wow you held out for a bit. Enjoy the game.
Yeah - I almost never grab the day of release for any title, but I did intend to get to it much earlier than I did. Several of the VNs in the queue ahead of it had issues with rewrites, Modders disappearing, bullshit associated with Steam releases, and I had to do a few full replays. Then, as I finished one, something in the queue would jump ahead - I sort my folders on the external by date, and get the one that had been updated the least recently, and if something with an older save date than Eternum released, then I got it. I have made a couple of exceptions - tried doing one, but it was royally fucked up due to a RenPy change, and I wasn't in the mood to completely start over at the time. Might get it next; and, while Chasing Sunsets was technically in line ahead of this, it was a "Sancho" mod VN that has some complexity to it, so I was waiting to see if he came back, then saw that there were some epilogues coming, so I moved that until the epilogue versions are released. Already had to do a full replay of all my paths on that after they did the RenPy change, and if I have to do them all again, I want to wait until full completion.
This is in my long list of games to play. Please let us know what you think of it.
Definitely my top VN - it's one of my signature items someplace else. And, since redheads are a thing with you, please meet my goddess:

Thank you kindly, Tosser!

What's the game? (If you linked it in your previous post or mentioned the name I must have missed it. I saw the screenshot though.)

EDIT: I'm an idiot that didn't look too close. I assume the game is Eternum.

Nova looks adorable and stunning.

😯 Got any other suggestions for games on this site in the same vein?

Hey there Suna. It's okay to say more than just hello..

Most of us don't bite, at least not without a request.

We'd love to have you join in our silly conversations. But, if you'd prefer to sit back and watch that's okay too. All at your own pace. We're happy to have you here.

Yup - Eternum. And Nova keeps getting cuter.

Don't know about "same vein" since it's pretty unique - though one Dev did almost a scene-for-scene ripoff with a very similar plot, but that's been abandoned. If the "look" is what you mean, it's done in HS2 by someone that's gotten very good with that style of asset

Other VNs with great graphics, good plot/decent story line and cute LIs, that I really like, include Artemis (just released and update a few days ago), The Unbroken, Chasing Sunsets, Single Again and Leap of Faith (get out your hanky!). Caribdis, the Dev of Eternum, has a completed another VN called Once in a Lifetime, done in HS, so graphics aren't as good, but story and music are great.

One thing I think Caribdis does better than anyone else is the audio - the blend of ambient sounds, music, vocalizations (not "voiced", though this current episode has a narration track for part of it that absolutely fits in and is essential) - just seems to be better than others. I suggest good stereo speakers or a decent set of headphones/earbuds when you play this one.

Okay - snack done. Gotta get back - I think Nova's about to give me a blowjob while Nancy watches. <sqeeeeeee!!!!>:devilish:

Anyone play any good retro style games lately? I really liked WH40K Boltgun and Dread Delusion and wanna find more like them.

Are you looking for only retro-style? Or would you be willing to play actual retro games you may not have heard about or played yet?
