once when I was like 8
I didn't know it was a thing at the time so I just kind of panicked
like "what if I'm stuck like this forever?"
at least there wasn't a demon, I just couldn't move
I tried rolling left and right for awhile and eventually that worked
probably only lasted like half a minute

With the imagination of a child, if I were to hallucinate during time, I wonder what would come out.But it was good, that only it got stuck and not the other things

Since the question of the day was about dreams. Has anyone here ever had sleep paralysis?

Oh hell yeah. It can be absolutely terrifying when you get it if it's combined with a nightmare.

Sometimes I still get them, but I'm usually not nightmare-ing, or I can kind of realize I'm dreaming and hold the line until it passes

THAT is a close encounter -- it was aliens and you probably have a chip planted somewhere in you. They float you out of the window on those occasions and return you later with fuzzy or no memory of the procedure. Hypnosis might help you remember.
