So I changed my plan to achieve the long uphill walk to get through the levels - rather than save and bank every coin to get to 100000 or a million or whatever i need, i have finally succombed and bought Prestige 1. So Hurrah ! Prestige 1.

I get torn about this myself. I've been on the scenic route for so long now that part of me wants to just stay the course on principle. I'm fairly convinced that nothing grand awaits me, so I'm waiting for the 90% off sale. I might donate, once I figure out what the hell it all means. They switched to Harry Potter names to make it easier. It's gibberish. There is also just a donate for coin option, which in my head makes more sense as long as it doesn't expire in a year. I have no desire to buy ranks that will expire on me. The rules of engagement around here change so consistently that I think daily visitors don't even fully notice it. The frog in the water experiment. But if you do what I've done and gone awol for weeks at a time, you come back and it's like, "Blood sacrifices are 50% off this month, but we added a new level for those who just gained a new level."

Labyrinth is great!Those 80's Fantasy Films still hold up to this day. Phoebe Cates ala Fast time at Ridgemont High, Gremlins, Private School and Jennifer Connely were my childhood Crushes, until I saw girls just a little bit older than me like Natalie Portman as Matilda in Leon: The Professional and Danielle Harris. Plus, the oddball David Bowie as The Goblin King, is a standout!

I love watching 2 comfort 80's flicks. Well... three.

How many other people read this question and just sat there unable to come up with something they really liked about themselves?

Yeah, questions like that can develop slowly to a literal gut-punch ... you start your day not thinking too much bad things, read that question and think about it longer than you should and the sinking feeling of knotted guts sets in ... and before you realize it you are back on YT doomscrolling shorts and/or listening to your 'sad-music-mix'.
Not anyones fault really, but the times i wanted to punch something (or myself) after the onset of such a downspiral because someone unknowingly and probably unintended started that process with such a question ... more often than i'd like to admit.

And that is why suffering is often silent, because no one wants to blame the ones asking the innocent question, or the un- or at least less-damaged people who answer positively, and no one usually wants to be the darned Debbie Downer who ruins the mood.

(I literally sat here now for 5 minutes fighting myself wether or not i should just delete that shit i just wrote or just post it ... because to make that very clear: i do not want any pity but i felt like i had to say it once)
