sorry, i'm not using vpn cos investment on vpn is not worth it in my current situation.Do you use a VPN or have any recommendations?
it's all about security, even fbi recommend using adblocker cos advertisement is major security risk.I second using Brave browser or any third party browser that has a built in ad/cookie blocker, but for me it's more about user experience than security.
this is true, all vpn does is hide your real ip from the website you visit and make your isp can't see what you doing. as for the cookie, mostly 3rd party cookie are the one that tracks you across internet, but 1st party cookie can also do that if they're designed to.When using a VPN, make sure you understand what it does. A VPN won't necessarily make you anonymous to the sites you visit, but mostly avoids your ISP knowing what you're doing on the internet.
For instance, if you log in to google through your VPN, then google knows that you're you.
If you log in to google without a VPN, you forget to clear your cookies and then visit google through the VPN... Google still knows who you are, even if you don't log in.
