People always say today (Black Friday) is the worst day to go shopping (crowd wise) but when I worked in a store, it was nothing compared to the weekend before Christmas. That was insane. Way more people out and not happy that anything popular was sold out because they waited until the last minute.

I hate timeszones -- I think all the world should just be on the same 24 hour clock - If I have a zoom meeting with London at 5:00 I don't want to have to pull out a calculator to see what time that is for me. Who cares if it is dark or light out - or if you have to go to work at 0830 Just put us all on the same clock and no more issues

I believe that Andor and, especially, The Mandalorian received such rave reviews for the simple reason that most of mainstream (meaning no expanded universe) SW was mediocre (sequel trilogy) or worse (Rey Palpatine trilogy). I mean... when you're starving even a SPAM can looks like a gourmet dish.

Mando started strong, but I think that's mostly that it tread some new ground in Star Wars and was a spectacle. Also, they had a cute new character and a nice relationship.

Andor is great. By your definition, I must be part of the Internet, because it's fantastic. The only thing I'll tell people is that some people need to watch the first 3 episodes to get into it.

I liked Andor s1, haven't kept up with disney releases so don't know if there is more yet or ever. Loved the Mandalorian, strongly disliked Boba and Obi Wan.

I forgot about Rogue One actually. And Solo. I loved those 2 movies. Andor is a well written drama series with heavy politics. It just lacked action...and Cassian Andor wasn't as badass as in Rogue One, and pretty much only good for getting his ass kicked. Very well made show but I found it too slow and uneventful. I hope things pick up in S2. I think Mando started rather slow but got really good (action wise I mean, no real story here until S3). Boba and Ahsoka were ok for just some mindless entertainment if you have nothing else to watch. Now The Acolyte...hmm...what's an accurate opinion of this show? Watch it if you want to know what it feels like to have your brain fucked by the Disney company while they simultaneously cut off your dick and shove it up your own ass. Sounds fun in writing but not when you experience it

You're right. I just saw now that they already did what I was afraid they would. They pulled a Blizzard and turned him into a villain just for some DLC cash. His story ended perfectly fine in the old games where he went off to fight Sith beyond the outer rim. A noble sacrifice...so MMO protocol is to go fuck it up
