I had Nintendo Switch since 2019. I love this gaming system, and my type of games are not these AAAAAA games, so the Switch is perfect for me.
Had some problems with the joycons, but changing the components were easy
I read that PS5 controllers also had some problem with drifting, tight?


For a "portable" gaming machine, I also have a laptop that suppress my necessities. It's heavy, but portable.
But the Deck was a nice kick-off for other companies to try the handheld, I saw a few other ones in the market, so maybe in the next years we have more nice handheld consoles.

All this is the same as me: love my switch, barely play AAA these days, and my laptop is my "portable" PC Gaming machine.
I do still really want a Steam Deck. But the urgency isn't there, like it might be for something else.

As for the PS5 Drift - whilst I haven't had experience with that, I honestly think the PS5 controller is a revelation. I've never held a more comfortable controller.

Definitely way too expensive. I only managed to get mine thanks to some friends - I photographed their Wedding and they paid me in vouchers which "Had to be spent on a PS5".
So, I was lucky. Or else yeah, I'd still not have one. The world is just too expensive in every way these days. What a struggle.

Haven't torched my switch sense finishing Tears of the Kingdom cant really say Eco's interest me. It give me that deja vu vibe when they announced wind waker the first time when me and others wanted a Twilight Princess at the time. As for my PS5 I only got ff16mad: I'm glad I only paid $26 for this disappointment) and FF7 Rebirth (Cant wait for the steam port). The only game I waiting for now is Kingdom Hearts 4. Everything else I just get on steam because old game 60 fps ports with mods and Steam Deck portability of not having to lug my shit everywhere.

SAME! I want to make a time-loop game where you incrementally have more time before it resets (as you progress the story), and can later set new starting points further ahead in time so you don't need to re-do choices.
Probably some weird mix of Persona 4 cursed village mystery and some "try to make your household and the whole neighborhood your harem" mixed in with slice of life stuff.
