I tried skimming through the last couple pages here and I'm still so lost of what any of the conversations are....were? Am I forever stuck here?

Idk, I'm pretty vanilla with food. Although...
There is a hotdog style... weiner wrapped in bacon, ketchup, mustard, diced tomato and onions like usual...plus chipotle sauce, really watery fried beans, caramelized onions, mayo, crushed ruffles chips... tastes divine.

Don't know how odd it is, but a sandwich with some sliced cheese and nutella, is not something you hear everyday.

For me, I've been enjoying soy sauce and vanilla ice cream for years, and in the past couple years an ice cream company has started doing soy sauce ice cream as an official flavor, so my weird food combo is starting to not be so weird.

Spoiler: im kinda surprised at how non-extreme this is i was honestly expecting something like my grandfathers spaghetti and Oreos as a food

That is a nice stash to have on hand! What was the special occasion that you guys picked up the 1k vodka? I can't imagine dropping that much money on a bottle.

we never had to buy our booze because my father works in a landfill and we "acquire" things that we probably shouldn't get. for example the several large case of liquor that had no problems other than a slightly misspelled label or we are given wine from the company as a gift for being a good worker. People really throw away a lot of things that in all honestly are perfectly fine and just get the insurance money from by exaggerating damages

Never hear of that combo before do you use any type of doritos or whatever is on hand? Like would you be able to taste the difference if you used cool ranch vs. nacho cheese or are they more there to add a crunch to the sandwich?

That's my cue to bounce!

How does everyone take their coffee? (or other caffeinated beverage of your choice)

Personally, at home, it's with a little cream and sugar. Because it has fat, protein, and carbs I can TECHNICALLY call it a meal!

(if I'm at a nice coffee shop, it's usually just straight up, though I have a weakness for Vietnamese style iced coffees in the summer)

Usually dark roast and black, though sometimes my Romanesque genes fight for dominance and I want a "light and sweet": dark roast, a couple teaspoons of sugar, and enough milk or cream to turn it blonde.

And right now I'm kind of craving a Vietnamese ice coffee....

As for other "ethnic" coffee drinks, during a couple of weeks working in Miami a couple decades ago, I got hooked on Cuban coffee - can't remember exactly how it's made, but it was a seriously dark/strong espresso kind of thing with evaporated milk, like a Vietnamese, but served hot as a shot.
