Oh it's not that they crammed the 7 books worth of story into 1 movie. They tried to cram 7 books of lore afaik. And it's not the first book. It's an equivalent to an 8th book. IIRC, it was explained as a sequel because

If you already finished the series you know the books just capture a snapshot of an infinite loop that has small variations with every iteration, Roland only realizes the foolishness of his actions at the very end. So we're not seeing the same "loop" in the movie, but another iteration, one that happens after the book series. That's what I remember reading in an article or something like that. Still, haven't watched it. Don't plan to watch it.

Oh, I forgot about the ending. I even though about it when they announced the movie. I had already read to series by them.
Well, at least minus one thing in my todo list.

Yeah I'm kinda burned out from kickstarter too. Now I was bookmark the projects and then buy at the normal price after they complete and start selling the product​

We can say we tried help them publish the games. But that was enough of problems and non-returned money.

Reason I don't usually run into that issue is that, if I see that the page count to last reply is too long for my fruit-fly-like-attention-span or if the thread is so active at the moment that pages add faster than I can wall build, then I just start quoting as I read. This was a rare instance where I had just enough focus to read everything before posting and the thread was relatively quiet.

Oh, I have to quoted on the fly also, otherwise I forget what I want to reply, and the goldfish memory doesn't help.
