I watched the new Salem's Lot remake, very disappointing after all the delays.

Spoiler: Not really spoilers.

Character relationships were severed and a lot of underutilization. They cut or trimmed a lot of things from the novel, which even the 2004 version did better, sans the acting. I think the movie needed more, and should've been another miniseries or at least a 2 part movie. The atmosphere and setting is good, with the exception of them gradually showing something is wrong with the town as it becomes more desolate and eerie. The acting overall was pretty good, as well. It's far inferior to the 1979 miniseries. I can see why it was delayed so long, hopefully they release a Director's Cut or Extended Cut like Doctor Sleep, because the movie felt like it left a lot out.

System like patreon were precisely invent so that artists can have a more regular income. There may be some people who abuse of the way those platform work, but that's a minority. Destroying the whole system which help financing creation and give some economic security to creators would then be a bad idea in my opinion.

I always forget that, for most people, they don't use this websites for porn, like Patreon (even OnlyFans was not the first idea)

I don't backup games on Kickstarter anymore, too many games were abandoned and money lost to try that shit again.

You want to talk about colored balls? A few years ago I had ACL reconstruction surgery and 1/3 of meniscus removed, yeah I'm old. Any way I was way past my max $$$ out of my pocket for insurance, and thought it was a good Idea to get snipped. Won't cost me anything and no more pull, spray and pray. I'll be god damned after the wicked awesome drugs wore off, It felt like I was constantly getting kicked in the marbles, for almost two weeks. Ice helped but that is still Ice on the twig and berries... Oh yeah, the colors, all the rainbow was involved, reds blues yellows purple green and black. And they were huge. Costly decision.
However, the look on a couple girls faces that didn't know I was snipped after nutting in them...PRICELESS

It was expensive, or just the foot surgery? When I first read your post, I thought it was expensive, but didn't understood the first surgery. In Brazil you can do Vasectomy for free in the public health system.

He had an foot injury and surgery scheduled to fix it. The way his insurance works made it so he took advantage and had a vasectomy during the same stay. Painkillers wore off, pain ensued, bruising (with skittles level of color variety) but says it was worth it just to see the reactions of girls as he came in them without revealing that he is infertile.

Rose Red was excellent! I agree, tend to like the miniseries versions of his adaptions better. The Stand, I.T., Storm of the Century, et cetera.
Rose Red is probably one of the most satisfying start to finish. Unlike Castle Rock which was good, and then the ending fucked it up with a poor and confusing resolution. It needed a season 3, for sure.

Ugh, I watched Dark Tower, and you were wise to avoid it. It had a lot of good ideas and the cinematography was good. Idris Elba was a standout, but to me it felt like poor casting. Give me The Dark Tower, full series on Premium Cable or a streaming service willing to throw down some money. Then cast someone like Thomas Jane or Aaron Eckhart as Roland and I'll be satisfied!
