the titles on youtube seem to be getting more and more desperate. i just saw someone say original age of mythology was the best strategy game i never played... when i played and enjoyed it in my teens. what kind of retarded babyfaced view is that on time and history. it seems anything older than maybe 5 years is seen as old and 10 years is fossils or somesuch!

It blows my mind that Civ 6 was released nearly 10 years ago it has almost fossilised. Gamers in 3 years will be dusting this off as if it was made by an ancient people

while i am venting about stuff that midly annoy me! i still have zero clue why the recent baldurs gate game is called baldurs gate 3! it has really nothing to do with the first 2 baldurs gates, sure some returning characters and one of the acts do take place in baldurs gate. I guess baldurs gate: mindboggling stupidity didnt sound quite as nice

they could have used the baldurs gate name without putting a 3 there but the game itself has a bunch of remember bg1 yeah that was a good game over i dunno making a good game themselves. plus last act feels to have copied story beats from bg1. which made me think sometimes i am probably betteroff just replaying bg1 since that way i can replay bg2 and throne of bhaal aswell which they seem to ignore talking about.
but i showed my appreciation to the whole bg1 pandering by slaughtering everyone from those games because fuck larian and fuck these impostors
