Oooh, science talk.hmm.. interesting. I'm not quite sure this would be a problem.
I'm not an expert in this, but the model proposed goes a little like this: Everything moves through space-time at the same speed. That speed is a vector with a fixed magnitude but varying direction. The more the space component of the vector the less the time component of the vector. i.e. the faster you move through the spacial dimension the slower you move through the time dimension. If you are standing completely still in the universe you move at maximum possible speed through time and vice versa if you move at maximum speed through space you are standing still through time.
so light, moving at the maximum speed possible through space basically has only a space component and zero time component. For a photon, it's creation and destruction are literally simultaneous from it's own perspective.
However, that's the key word isn't it? perspective.
because That's one way to look at it, the other is: for us, light DOES take some time to reach from A to B so the above might be true and still not change our experience in a theoretical time stop scenario in which case you would be right.
Color my interest piqued and mind blown.
PS: kurzgesagt has an interesting video on the subject of spacetime speed.
My latest theory is Covid was actually system downtime/maintenance for the simulation we live in, which is why perception of events before covid feel really skewed and unreal.fuck you i will keep pretending like firefly was only like 10 years ago until the day i die![]()
Awareness is the first step! You'll get the hang of it.sorry i fell into that double posting trap and i keep forgetting that this isnt reddit or xitter or whatever
Pausing backread to get back to work.
Good morning pervs!
