You're a few months late for the "Is weird or not" debate. Many of us, myself included, fought to have AI Art still allowed. But it was ultimately decided that it's better to be safe than sorry. If there's no AI Art outside of the restricted section, then there is nothing to report. It was sad, because this thread (well, it's equivalent) used to be popping with AI Art all day, non-stop, but... tis what tis now...

I miss the AI days big time!
I still make a lot of AI pics but keep all my files in an external drive. Not sure why as I seldom revisit them; I just get a kick out of creating the pics! One of my favourite pass times is bringing to life some of my favourite characters from the VNs I read/play. nothing beats seeing an AI produced pic of one of your daughter in SSP for example!
At some point I will probably be able to share some of my stuff and will enter some of Mime's competitions. That will probably be a couple of months away when I can afford P4.
In the meantime I'll keep on lurking and improving my Gif making skills!

Understandable but if you want to, you can screenshot the pictures and crop it out. It won't have any of the picture's exif data.

I could, and almost did, but decided not to in the end.

When we had a few places to find the media, it was ok, but now there are hundreds of streams, which one costly than the other, so pirating is a necessity!

It's your patriotic duty in (insert country here) to pirate! Truthfully pirating has been the only way to save some old shows as no one has a copy anywhere

Are you using torrents as part of your nefarious adventures? Been looking at downloading some different series and that seems to be the way to go, but having trouble getting either "u" or "qbit" to work with the recommended free VPN. Used "u" in the distant past, but now there are two things I no longer do without a digital condom: porn and piracy. I'm also a cheap-ass mofo, so I really don't want to pay for a VPN, but torrent engines seem to have issues with them. I grabbed "hide me" since my normal free VPN doesn't allow p2p, but, even after researching and following every set-up recommendation I could find, I never get them to go past "connecting to peers" or "downloading metadata" (depending on which one I'm using at the time).

If you use torrents, how do you go about it? Raw dog, free VPN or paid VPN? If free, how are you doing the setup to get it to properly work?

just do a small bit of research and get one that has no logs. For downloading I'd suggest Sonarr (TV shows) and Radarr (Movies). Coupled with Deluge (the utorrent and qbittorent are considered compromised adware programs now I believe), it's one of the best ways. If you go the usenet way, it's a lot more money , but faster downloads.

Those you just put the name of your media in and do all the work for you. Take a small bit to set up but it's really worth it

You can always send your pics to @mime privately and He will place them in the appropriate spots. It would help you get to P4 faster if you want to go that way.

Has anyone tried out that new Star Wars game? Any good?

Outlaws? I just finished everything possible in game with it on Sunday. I loved it, good lore, decent gameplay, plenty of content, and I liked Kessel Sabacc way more than I thought I would. If you don't mind exploring an open world map with a standard Ubisoft checklist, and love Star Wars it's a solid entry to the series.

That said it's an Ubisoft game and if you're on the fence, wait a month or two and it'll drop to around half price like most of their games.
