I'd still recommend building it yourself though as you'll inevitably have to upgrade parts down the road and might not want to shell out money every time for replacing one part. Plus it's always a frustrating fun experience

The cable management can be a bitch in some cases, do find a case with good cable management. And before starting the build, inspect the case thoroughly for sharp edges, and be prepared to file or sand them down. You can cut your hand or worse the coating on a thin cable over a sharp metal edge, the former hurts but the latter sucks even more if you don't realize it until after the build when you're tryning to boot it....

If you're going for windows, always chek prices online for cheap-but-legit OEM license keys. Retal keys are up to ten times more expensive... An OEM key shouldn't cost more than ehm I dunno 20 usd or eur ?

Some people swear by wearing an anti-static wristband connected to earth when handling electronic components, some people don't care. I prefer to wear it, it's cheap and simple and at least it can't hurt.

Choosing the right components is a fucking bitch hassle and I hate it. There are sites that have build-testers that claim to check if the components you consider will function well together. Some of those sites might even not be wrong all of the time. None of them can be fully trusted. Find an online discussion forum with competent computer people, see if they have a subforum for "help me with my build", and read 10-20 threads to get a feel for if they are ok people, if they seem to know what they're talking about. If you're living in a place where it's hard to get components, take that into account both when reading and posting.

Unless you live in a place where parts are cheap or you have a good amount of money, you don't need to go to the highest tier of pc. A medium high is good enough. My pc is almost ten years old and run all the hentai fine!
There's no shame in using builds chosen by others more knowledgeable than you, I used a list from the recommended builds thread on mmo-champion.
