Battle Sisters and Orkz are my favorites in WH40K. The Dawn of War Soulstorm is up there on favorite games. I have a twenty year old army that's been in a box for over 15 years because I don't have time to play anymore.

I like the Tau. Mostly because while everyone else is charging into battle with chainsaw swords and fireballs they're prepping snipers and Gundams.

I don't think trying to make a game in a oversatured genre is a problem per se. If the game is good he may succeed.
But just like people say that food you eat first with your eyes, I do think the visual style is really important in games, and Concord fumbled hard on that.
