I really wish we got David Lynch's original idea of the old Dune. I remember loving the movie as a kid. Then, when I got to College, all the film guys always shit on it. I guess it's because the book was great. Then again I like both the Film and Book versions of Starship Troopers, also.

Yes, I like the movie but it 100% did not show what the book was trying to say. give David Lynch did get pull up short on making it.

I think the SSD makes the use of storage space as Ram much better.

That's a really good one!, Sadly, due to taxes, it's about $700 USD here, which is why, I'm aiming for a Motorola Edge 50 Pro, it usually sells for $550 USD, but, I'm waiting for it to got for $500 USD. Missed the last time it got to that price for a day (my payment got the day after), but, I'm patient.

Well, if you save money where you are, I see why. My taxes on a $450 phone was $37 = $487 Total

It's definitely dated, and nowhere near as good as I remember. It also feels incomplete, because it technically is. My only problem with the new Dune movies is the casting of Timothee Chalamet. He just looked too soft and delicate. He was decent as Willy Wonka, to be fair.

The old Dunes were supposed to have 2 more movies, I heard. That would have been cool, but were not the massive hits that the Chalamet films are.

I think the greatest Superhero animated series is the 90's Batman: The Animated Series. Honorable mentions to the 90's Spider-Man and X-Men, and the early 2000's Justice League and Unlimited. All just my opinion, of course.

Atleast Kevin got the other Arkham games, Suicide Squad was a bad swan song, from what I heard. I never really played it, originally I was interested then it went all GAAS and stuff, and I was thought "Nope, not for me!".

I'm doing a lot of X-Men references but I just finished watching the classic animation and JUST starting '97.

One of the episodes was called something Jubilee's theater.
Her and the kids she was in charge of were stuck somewhere dangerous and, to prevent them from freaking out, she was telling them a make believe story.
The heroine (a version of her) was EASILY trouncing all bad guys in that story.
That's when I realized that heroes that win easily appeal to kids or people who miss the simplicity kids stories.

Well, Jubilee was fucking useless, so obviously she was exaggerating!

Top 3 for me
Bronze Medal = Seven.
Silver Medal = The Usual Suspects.
Gold Medal = Arlington Road. (my favourite movie of all time, despite its flaws)

Arlington Road? Really? I really did not like that movie.
It seems like the MC was a dumb idiot who ignored literally every red flag.
I understand you have a contrarian view on standard hero stories, but I thought it was just a bad movie.

I've met Tara Strong, John DiMaggio, Steve Blum, and Meagan Smith, and they were all really cool.

I met DiMaggio alongside Billy West. I used to go to a lot of conventions.
