I understand the confusion, though.

I wouldn't call less than a month difference in join date "a lot longer" and I'm too lazy to verify that you never changed your name or profile pic. That said, I have no animosity towards you, I just couldn't resist an opportunity to use that great gif.

Wow, 260lbs. Mine is 50# soaking wet. I have plenty of public wildlife land around me and I drive 5 miles let her out to run, swim, chase animals and most importantly . Gots to clean that shit up if in the city.

To be clear -- this is my two dogs combined weight - not one doggie. I usually walk mine on horse trails - I figure if the riders don't have to pick up their animals shit -- neither do I .

You're right. I joined up a little over 2 years ago. I think I was looking at his last logged in date, not his join date.

I'm amazed at movies still making over a billion dollars in US theaters. That said theaters have shifted to trying to become premium experiences, so they usually have seats that are pretty comfy now if you don't mind paying the premium. I still dislike the overall experience but to each their own.

*technically* none ever have. Closest was SWEp7 with ~940m. Although a lot have broken over a billion or two due to international box office revenue. And yeah, theaters have always been about the *experience*. I enjoyed watching the premieres of the MCU up to endgame, and some of the later ones. There's something about sharing that moment with like minded people in a comfortable and dedicated setting. But it's not for every movie and certainly not for everyone.

Oh, it is far more than that. The Minecraft movie looks god awful, the casting is just the tip of the iceberg. I don't understand how these poorly written piles of shit keep getting green lit.

Personally I can't say a movie is poorly written until I see it. I can, however, say that the Minecraft movie does look like hot garbage. Personally was hoping it'd be done Castaway style, just one guy stranded in a Minecraft world, slowly going crazy as he tries to get back to reality.

But sometimes name alone does make money.
Look at Pokémon, some recent games are done without any care and they always are the most sold games on the console.

Honestly, I think people are overly critical of Pokemon games. I think the developers do care, but are stuck on a stupidly timed release schedule that conflicts with the effort they're allowed to put into the games' development. If they added a year or two onto the release schedule, I think the games would actually be hitting a lot nicer. I can say that Arceus was a nice breath of fresh air in the franchise though.

I too have two cats. Black furred strays we took in a decade ago. One is an absolute coward that hides the moment our door is knocked on, the other is a serial cuddler who will spend hours sleeping on you if you let her.

All these dog and cat comments (a few pages back) got me to thinking. It's well known that if you die that the dog will morn you -- the cat will start eating you - literally within a couple hours of your death. So maybe check on the old cat lady down the street more often.

I don't know, the latter games (SWSH mainly) does seem more "soulless", and as of today there's still easily found and reported bugs that wasn't fixed, which for me makes it look like they just don't care.
And GameFreak always did lots of bugs, but at this point, since they've been doing that from decades, if they're not improving on programming I think it need to be disinterest or incompetence, like I said before.
And multiple times they did interviews just batlantly lying about the game, like when they said they had to cut pokémon because "it wouldn't fit the region", they "needed to remake from scratch all models", or "the moves needs custom animations", and none of it was true, since cut pokémon was featured on promotional works in the new region, the models are the same since Pokémon XY, and the animations are almost non-existent (even Pokémon Stadium on Nintendo 64 had better animations).
Pokémon Arceus I tried playing but I found very, very ugly and gave up on it.
(Yeah, I'm biased against recent Pokémon games, but there actually are lots of issues with it).

My two cats are children and grandchildren of a stray cat we took in. Unfortunately the grandma is now in cat's paradise. The two other are old cats too now, both are more than ten years old, so i fear the time where they will died. The mother still do a bit of hunting and the younger still do some mischief from time to time. But most of the time, those days, they don't do much, except sleeping, grooming, eating, cuddling and asking for more affection, attention and petting.

Dog had been select to be dumb and obedient, like many species who live with humans. On the contrary, cats domesticate themselves, they choose to come into humans home by their own will and on their own conditions, they are more intelligent and independent than dogs. The ideas that cats only have a "exchange of service" relation with humans has been debunked many times by science. Cats can love humans just like dogs do.

The difference is that this love isn't unconditional, but should be earn. That's something dog people sometimes have trouble to understand, that why they so often misread cat body language too. Cats are a lesson on consent.

Personally i'm a catgirl and then most cats like me. I come in a room for a first time and there is a cat. They immediately come sit on me.

My aunt have a tsundere cat. He comes close to your leg, but if you try to pet him he starts fleeing, and if you stop, they will go again on your feet and do the same until you do actually pet him. Hahaha
