Yeah, I used to go to every movie I wanted to watch, but now tickets and popcorn are like three whole days worth of salary. No way I'm spending that much.

I don't think anyone here expects the rest of us to pay top dollar for a single viewing of movies when there are options

[kikomascado]

It says currently there is a 20% discount, but when I click on "SHOP" then try to buy the rank, it still says 750 LC Coins. Am I doing something wrong to get the discount?
Do I need to put in a promo code, or something?

I think it's bugged.

[whydoineedto]

Target audience matters too. Pokémon (and maybe Minecraft, remains to be seen) can get away with it if they target their movie at kids who will just enjoy seeing Pikachu. Some adults are like that too but usually are fans of properties aimed more at kids anyway, they're not the Borderlands fanbase.

This, a lot of people kind of forget they might not be the target audience. Or even adjacent.
I also agree that many times the studios will just throw shit at a wall expecting it to stick because the wall is caked from the same shit over and over and it just doesn't.
Who knows with this one. I expect it'll make its money back at the very least.

Same to you. and while on your walk, pay attention and let us know, Who is walking Who?
I have to admit my dog is lots of times smarter than me...

combined - my two dogs weigh 260 pounds -- usually they are pretty good -- but if they want to go someplace (coyote / deer etc) they are definitely walking , running, dragging me .

Isn't it just a donation discount? It should be phrased differently from store discounts but I don't think it ever is.

I'm amazed at movies still making over a billion dollars in US theaters. That said theaters have shifted to trying to become premium experiences, so they usually have seats that are pretty comfy now if you don't mind paying the premium. I still dislike the overall experience but to each their own.

[Teaspoon]

Yeah, same. I've got no money.

Just trust me. Don't look at my LC coin total.

And definitely don't look in my bank. None there either.

I like going to the cinema, my problem with it is just the price and that lately they seem to be saving on energy by not turning on the fucking AC. Sometimes I'm melting because of the heat on there!

Wait... so it isn't a discount day?

Good morning.

I was wondering if someone has a link to the thread with the instructions on how to get access to "The section that shall not be named" ?
I can't seem to find it, anymore.

Wow, 260lbs. Mine is 50# soaking wet. I have plenty of public wildlife land around me and I drive 5 miles let her out to run, swim, chase animals and most importantly . Gots to clean that shit up if in the city.

I'm sorry. I'm not sure I follow.

Why am I an imposter? Because, you aren't the first person to call me that, and no one will tell me why.
