Hamsters, gerbils, mice. Great pets as long as you can keep them in their cage or at least not roaming free.

As long as the owner keeps their area clean, not too much downsides, either.
But, much like any animal, if their area is gross, everything involving them will be, too.

Yeah, mine I think my dog ate, because my mom forgot the cage open while I was traveling...
I was young, so she never really said it, but it's what I think hapenned. Hahaha
A friend of mine had one that he would let him on the table while we was there. He just wandered on it, climbed your arm and such. It was cute.

My nephew had one of the rodents (hamster or gerbil) and they thought he got out and the dogs ate him.
That winter, when the forced air heat was in full use, they found out what actually happened.
The critter got down into the air vent and died. That wasn't a great smell.

I'm on a 2c 2t cpu with 4gb of ram right now that's slower than a first gen i3, temp right now 75c lol.

it's a little slow, but it's handling it ok MEANWHILE: CPU is stuck at 90% usages with spikes to 100%

best you can go is 1050 ti, maybe a 1650 and Rx 470 not to sure on those last two though.

Yeah, I looked into it a while ago.
The CPUs for 1156 are pretty cheap, $70 for a used i7-880 (3.08 Ghz quad core lol) and $100-150 for a 1650.
The gains are so small, though. I don't use it for gaming anymore, so I'll just wait.
I think the next gen of AI cards with be all the rage and people will be dumping whole systems for cheap. (I hope)

My CPU/GPU/mobo has been running 24/7 since late 2011.
Well, nearly 24/7. HD failures, RAM failures, power supply and fan burn outs.
Probably a total of 60 total days turned off.

Were it upto me, I would put the animal down. Unfortunately, there are human females in the mix, who need to learn some hard lessons that have been forgotten for 3-4 generations.

Yeah, this is legit the worst pc I own compared to the other few systems I have, and yes I'm choosing to use it over my 1.5k gaming pc with a 3090 LMAO, I've run this 2c 2t laptop through like 20 different benchmarks and even played a few old games on it like fallout 3, borderlands 1, morrowind etc. more like crawled, but you get the point......
