I'll second the Nichijou rec. It's some good fun anime that doesn't require effort to enjoy (aka just a bunch of shorts, not 3 seasons of lore to know). I also never heard of it until friends mentioned it.

Along the same theme, My Neighbor Seki is also a great, easy, fun watch.

I will check it out. But you're talking to the guy who loves back reading so much I'm going back through the 7500ish page OG thread for fun. I want lore. haha

I never really got into anime, but I like action so I always recommend Hellsing and Black Lagoon. Plus the main girls are good

Highly recommend. I was thrown into it when we were sent home during Covid, and our department just continued.

Before I tried it I was convinced I wouldn't like it. But, I kinda do. I miss shooting the breeze with colleagues though.
If I had lived by myself I suspect it could have been a bit monotonous.

Deathnote you have to look at it in a different context I think. You are for once seeing a story through a villains eyes. I can think if very few media where you see a villains perspective where they are ultimately held accountable.

I'm not huge into horror, yes to the other two. Although if the choice comes down to it go for good comedy over tits, I can always wander away from the thread here if I am looking for that haha.

We followed the river, and saw some footprints leading away.
@Guz89 and @anon670-1 were pretty sure they were some Guwnkime.
So we decided to follow them... A little further in, we began to see some light...
And I can say now... The footprints weren't from Guwnknime alone.
The Slumrog, Hellcoon, and The Gul, were standing there "talking" in a weird demonic language.
