It would be like a Lions fan insisting they will win the Super Bowl every year.
The CU fans have seemingly adopted Prime's attitude without any accomplishments.
I felt bad last year when they were getting slapped around at the end of the year, but I will not this year.

Part of that tho is all the sports analysts and stuff over hyping them. Yes their first win last year against TCU was very impressive. TCU had just come off of being in the championship game the year before. After that ESPN and all the other sports channels were praising them claiming they were the greatest and they are going to win it all now. The next week took 2 overtimes to beat a subpar Colorado State team. The cycle repeated for the next few weeks until they lost their second game and the hype was over. I think they are still overrated and so is deion.

Yeah, tons. Xenoblade Chronicles 2, X-blades, Tomb Raider, Dino Crisis, BloodRayne, a bunch of Gacha games (although I usually couldn't tell you which girl is from which game). Probably more if I thought longer.

I finally watched that, I even went to the theater for the first time in years! I loved the movie, hardly any plot but it delivered on the laughs and honestly that's what I want from a deadpool movie

Nah I mean, I already do that a lot on discord and whatsapp. I still have some semblance of forum etiquette from years and years of lurking and posting in several. Even though this is basically a dump/spam thread, I feel like I need to try a bit harder before I post, or I will just lose it and start dumping without a care.

Oh and I agree on the plot. Tbf, they warned us before and during the movie several times that it wasn't going to be a deep dive into plot/lore but instead going to be a fun action movie with a lot of fan service. And they did that.

For me, I'd rather play 1 game a year, but then I get to play it for the whole year.

I tried games as a service with EverQuest (1 month before the launch of Kunark i.e. I barely qualify having been on Vanilla launch).
Too much pressure to play the game instead of others because I'm paying monthly. Games as a service is over for me.

Now, I'm getting older games as a rebate and playing the shit out of them.
Ex: I finished Arena, Daggerfall (both using DOS emulators), Morrowind and Oblivion. I just started Skyrim this year. Feels like it'll take me a year, maybe more.

Am I the only one that spends more time modding skyrim then playing the game with 140+ Mod

Also, I think they forgot that TCU got their shit pushed in at the Championship game. Bama, Ohio State, Clemson, hell even SDSU pr NDSU would have looked better. TCU earned it, but should not have been there.

That seems like a poor comparison, IMO.
It's like comparing how many phones have been sold to how many consoles have been sold.
Everyone has a phone. Candy Crush is played by hundreds of thousands of senior citizens. Children, moms & dads, businessmen and housewives alike.

People were surprised that Micro$oft spent $70 billion to buy Activision. But don't think about King Games that was included.
They got Candy Crush and WoW

I absolutely agree that it's a testament to WoW's (at least initial) quality that it has survived despite being an MMO, which I wouldn't say is a niche market but it's not the biggest market share. My point is just that when Activision's suits look at bottom lines, Candy Crush costs way less to make and maintain and brings in way more revenue, which is why they are making decisions to focus on monetization instead of fun. And I stand by my statement a few dozen pages ago that indie games are where it's at if you want interesting new ideas and fun (not solely, some AA games have come out that focus on being good games too).
