Yep you are correct - there is a world of difference between the books and the movies -- same thing with withe GOT
Haven't seen GoT, but read the books. The woman I was dating just before the series came out had a couple of them, so I read those and bought the rest. I think GRRM decided he thought he'd be clever and unpredictable by doing things contrary to most story telling (i.e., killing off all the people most readers want to live), but after the first two or three deaths, he became predictable - he was too clever by half. ;)

He also seemed to find favorite phrases to overuse in each book.

Overall, I enjoyed the books, but I suspect we may never get the series finale in written form, and if we do, it will be an edited together bit of dreck derived from the scripts for the portions of the TV series that went beyond the books already published.

Hello everyone!

End of the week, finally. I will try to play some games, but cleaning the house is a priority here, because this place looks like a pigpen already.

I don't have the slightest hope on reading the finale of this book series. If we have a finale, it will not be written by him, so why care?

I'm out for the weekend, y'all...
so...

I had not been there yet. Love all of them tho! This is why I'm nosy and open all the dropdowns no matter who's name is on them

Same none of this hits any of my normal interests but now I simply must know how it ends.

Just switch to 24 hour time. Then you can have to subtract 12 from half the times in your head.

Anyone know what the etiquette is for posting the missing pages of an incomplete comic on here ? Should I just make a new thread for the complete work? (the whole thing is just a couple pages)

I even have looked on the Uploaders University here to see if they consider this, but no results on that.

You have two options: just comment on the original thread, and have luck the Original Poster include your reply on the thread, or create a new one.

If the missing pages are from the end of the comic, I don't see a problem on adding them as a reply to the original thread.
If the missing pages are from the inside of the comic, I would like to see a thread with the whole comic in order than a one with missing pages.

I wonder which is weirder: wanting to see your favorite childhood characters naked and being sexy*, or NOT admitting to wanting to see your favorite childhood characters naked and being sexy.
Granted, if your favorite childhood characters were the teletubbies, that would be pretty weird.

I haven't found anything on the various rules pages either.
And I was thinking along the same lines, just needed some affirmation ^^'
