Yep you are correct - there is a world of difference between the books and the movies -- same thing with withe GOT

Haven't seen GoT, but read the books. The woman I was dating just before the series came out had a couple of them, so I read those and bought the rest. I think GRRM decided he thought he'd be clever and unpredictable by doing things contrary to most story telling (i.e., killing off all the people most readers want to live), but after the first two or three deaths, he became predictable - he was too clever by half.

He also seemed to find favorite phrases to overuse in each book.

Overall, I enjoyed the books, but I suspect we may never get the series finale in written form, and if we do, it will be an edited together bit of dreck derived from the scripts for the portions of the TV series that went beyond the books already published.

End of the week, finally. I will try to play some games, but cleaning the house is a priority here, because this place looks like a pigpen already.

Just switch to 24 hour time. Then you can have to subtract 12 from half the times in your head.

You have two options: just comment on the original thread, and have luck the Original Poster include your reply on the thread, or create a new one.

If the missing pages are from the end of the comic, I don't see a problem on adding them as a reply to the original thread.
If the missing pages are from the inside of the comic, I would like to see a thread with the whole comic in order than a one with missing pages.

150 posts does seem like a huge amout of grind to me. But i dont see behind the scenes, so cant say if its justified or not.

It can be, but that's why you should make posts that are interesting or amusing in high traffic areas, like this. And before long, you'll have your coins, and do your happy dance!
