I have noticed that windows 10 runs faster if I don't keep lots of icons on my desktop. Seeing as it keep the desktop live in the background.
So keep your stuff in subfolder if you run a potato.

Is this similar to the debate in the UK as to the correct way to pronounce the word scone. Some think its pronounced scone (to rhyme with gone) whilst others think it should be scone (to rhyme with hone).

Except it's two different words, not only a pronunciation or accent issue. Plus, it's not only in France. Other french speaking countries side for one or another word, or have their own, all this just for a pastry name.

Yeah, i like the films. But i'm a a bit of a purist, so i think they take a bit too much liberties with the massive world Tolkien create. And that's a lot worse with the Hobbit, most of it isn't making any sense, they extent it a lot just to make money, I was very disappointed.

Christopher, son of JRR, executor of his will and who was in charge of publishing the rest of Tolkien works, criticized all this a lot but can't do anything because his father sold the complete rights.

Speaking for my gender, we probably deserve it.

I've only had to endure that process once in almost 30 years.

Yeah, this is my second time in two years. Which makes it sad
But progress is progress!

Twice in two years sounds quite stressful. I've been fortunate or unfortunate enough to wind up relocating 5 times in the last 24 years to different parts of the country. That doesn't even include the time I had to put everything in storage for a couple of years whilst renting a room or the three relocations where I was staying within the same region. All of them came due to me chasing work. I've been in my current place now nearly 6 years but I've still got boxes filling two rooms. I think there is still a part of me that thinks I'm going to have to move on again.
