Have used both Liquid Nitrogen and Liquid Oxygen at work in the past. One for shrinking certain items temporarily to aid installation, another to replenish breathing systems. I'll let you figure out which for which.

My high school chemistry teacher showed us something similar with liquid nitrogen to your second video, she dropped a rubber ball in and then pulled it out with a glove and threw it against the floor, where it shattered. Never let us do anything with the liquid nitrogen though Took us out to the parking lot and showed us thermite burn through two plant pots too.

Cooling a drink with ice takes longer than a minute though. It can take like 1 1/2 or 2 minutes.
