Oh, that was a good movie. I forgot that was a line from that movie. Iirc, that's where they kill the guy in the trunk, but they weren't supposed to- I haven't seen that movie in years... and Brad Pitt played the Pikey.

Yeah, the mutant thing is kinda skewed. It appears rather than deal with the "mutant" hassle they had to change their origin story in the movie to make them non-mutants because they were on loan from Fox- and Fox still retains the properties on the other "Mutants" in their universe. Were I not absolutely knackered- it might make more sense.

Even bad that I'm not as fan I like that they continue. I hate when things don't have a conclusion...
Unless it's a rework that no one asked, if so, it's better if the dev abandon the ideia and go back to the original game!

Well, that's a shame. I guess I didn't realize it was that involved- I thought it was originally a Flash game(?). I could be mistaken...either way that's too bad, but if they aren't getting paid there's not real incentive for them to make a game.

I think I went with Pilot just because I like his originality as a concept really. Very obviously not a rubber-forehead alien but also practical effects as opposed to cgi. Also found him to have a brilliant line in snark at times, often from completely out of left field. In reality I suppose I could've gone with any of the characters, they were all great so long as the writers knew how best to use them, and if any moment encapsulated the sort of genre subversiveness the show always had I can't think of any moment better than this.

Very true. Snide little quips definitely "fleshed out" his character. I may have to see if I still have this DL'd somewhere and watch it again, but this time all of them. I might have skipped a couple here and there...just because I kept losing my place.

Yeah I don't own a computer. So I don't have to worry about things like that. But all my stuff is backed up. It's called my dvd collection

well you never know, i always make backups and yeah usually just basics, any photos, documents, saves of games that dont exist and such. got 2 offline backups for that. with movies and series its pointless to backup can always re download, tho would be issue remembering. but out of mine 7 active drives (1 are disconnected and 2 external) + few reserves from replacements. yeah nobody got time to backup that.
tho then again old series and movies are also saved when have upgraded last drive from 3tb to 12tb.

Personal Story: I will admit, my most stable living conditions was actually my childhood till 18. And lots, LOTS of times, big company nuisance (?, might not be the right word) lawsuits brought down businesses KNOWING they couldn't win in court but they could out-cash people, which included my uncles' businesses. Eventually, the "little guy" just cried uncle, signed, and that was that.

It wasn't in the US. It was a fucking long time ago, and I THINK there's a lot more protection against "Big Corps will just sue you, your kids, your grandkids till you sign." nowadays. More in some countries I'm sure.

The way you're explaining it, at least where you live, if not most places, big Corporations can't do that anymore.

well i backup everything on what i burn time on, if for example i would lost my lists in which am working for past 5y now and have drop in 1000s hours. well i would legit probably kill 1st person that would piss me off so i simply cant let that happen. all that stuff doesn't make much in size anyway 1 usb for basic and you are good.
but if you don't care about stuff you burn your own time for, cant do much. like all those ppl crying for saves all the time and such.

Yes it is. Was a special edition box collection I bought. I have pretty much the full collection of the og horror films. That's what the shelf on the left is. Pretty much nothing but horror films. Yes you do. Love that show also. But pissed me off so much they canceled it after the second season especially with the way they ended it

i hope so. But i am not suprised it happens outside the US. There is a reason people work paycheck to paycheck for the giant corporations as the alternative is most likely lose everything and starve. Then you have some people thinking back when i was young you could work hard be your own boss and feed a family plus pay for a house not understanding things have changed since the 50's

Part of it is that when i go back to a game after a hiatus i wanna restart to remind myself. Part may also be that i grew up having stuff stolen or lost and hardware giving up on me that i have learned to deal with it. Plus saves from videogames are one thing i consider not very important. Plus your average gamer will always find the tiniest thing to whine about online in my experience. but i do have 1 usb with windows installation software.

Love me some classic horror movies and even though Carnivale ended like that it's still my favorite, too bad we couldn't see the clash of good vs evil. HBO was ending so many of their shows before a proper finale at that time, Rome and Deadwood come to mind, although Deadwood finally got that movie after 15 years.
