That's not a Disney problem that's a Hollywood problem. Like video games some individuals can't go 2 second without yelling in your face how you should live, no matter witch political side of the spectrum you Aline with. I miss the times were I could escape into anime/video games without being yelled at about tribal politics corresponding to (Insert what ever team/ideologically hear). I say can we be at peace and enjoy basic entertainment , instead of helping one another they say NO back to treating X teams politics like sports team in-till they get what they want.

I fully agree with you, just that only Disney was mentioned following the context that originated the debate, either way you are right, it has become an issue not only on movies but in videogames, sports and education, etc.

Unfortunately times change, and we will have to wait and see how this all develops going forward, at least what we can do is refusing to consume all that bullcrap and continue to express our discomfort in hopes of a change.

As a reference:
-I loved the books.
-I loved the original trilogy too. Did not like the exclusion of the last part of the books but understood why it was necessary.
-The hobbit trilogy was okayish, had good bits and bad bits. Only watched once.

I started rings of power, did not made it pass around minute 20 and was in an almost constant WTF state, but my sister said "it wasn't that bad" (did not finish it either). She's fully watched very, very bad series. That's the best I can say about it.
It's something, maybe even something good in the right context(most likely drunk or smoking a lot of weed), but it's definitely not LOTR. If you go in with the expectation of it being LOTR do not bother, if you want to watch something loosely based on the universe give it a try.

That sounds like trouble. Is that in the days where the max HDD size was about 250GB and there was floppy disk drive with Pentium 3 chip? I heard about these kinds of old tech.

My first PC (my family's) was an AST with a 250MB Hard Drive, 16 MB RAM, 4x CD-ROM, 3.5" floppy disk drive,Pentium II processor, with a 14.4 kb/s modem.
It cost about $2,200. $2,500 after the loan was paid off.

Yeah, my point is how people are hostile with game that don't meet their criteria. I've seen countless of female MC games that have a lot of people complaining in the replies.
Since you compared it to food, for me it's like going all the way to a vegan restaurant and telling them they sould serve meat because of what you like... (And I do like meat a fucking lot, but let people have different things!)

People don't understand constructive criticism anymore.
It's supposed to be, "here's what I think could improve your game on a story/technical aspect" instead of, "this is what I want you to do to fit my preference"

LotR movies and books are great, even though the books can be a bit tiring.
Would highly recommend giving it a try, at least on the first LotR movie. Even if you don't enjoy the story, everything else is so well made that it's really a delight to watch.

Once I download the extended trilogy and was ready to watch it, but them I got lazy, and never went back to it...
I do want to watch it someday, or since I never watched it, you think it would be nice to read it with that "first time" mind? Without knowing anything? I have a Kindle, so I could put it to a good use.

It was just trying to find/remember WHICH pocket you put stuff in that was the issue.

I always used the same pockets for the same stuff, so I knew them by heart.

I miss when we had actual badass female character in movies the most. True, some where playing roles made for men, but the actress carried it and made it hers. They did not need the male characters to be lame in order to shine.
It's even more obvious when they use an existing character and they don't now what to do with it. The last one I even attempted to watch was tomb raider(2018) and could not make it through the whole thing.

What annoys me is that every female that is to be seen badass have the same personality. Before you could have a cute girly and yet be badass when she wanted, without breaking character. One example of that is Peach. In games there were times when se showed some of that, but the movie scrapped it all and made it a generic girl boss.

I understand your point, but Disney is a company that needs to generate earnings so that their investors are happy, and taking into account that they have either lost money or generated so little to be considered profitable, I don't understand why the keep pushing the same agenda that is not really working for them.

So it is either that the don't care for wherever reason, that what I said on my previous post is not so far of, or that I'm not seeing something in the equation, but as you said is only my opinion.

Which is ironic since Disney apparently elf sabotated their movie that had an openly LGBT main character and also canceled that other movie that went to another studio and won an oscar or something like that. Hahaha
They are only "queer-friendly" when they do think it will be profitable, like many other companies do. There's a reason pink money is adopted in many businesses.

But a third is so standard. For a really interesting harmony, a minor fifth is hard to beat.

A little advice that helped me tremendously. Open 2 tabs, one for the frontline the other where you're backreading.
Stay on the frontline !! When it gets slow or every few minutes go chip away a little of the backread. Otherwise you'll
always be behind. There was a time for about 2-3 weeks where i got home and had 40-70 pages to read to get caught
up. After 6 or so hours i would finally reach the frontline then have to go to sleep. Rinse and repeat. Hope you give this
a try, if you do message me and let me know how it's working for ya - Bonky
