I'm not young though I do get free healthcare at point of use. In fact I'm fast approaching the age where those procedures may ecome the norm. However I just find it weirdly specific. I could understand generally free superior healthcare provision for physiotherapy, diagnostics and testing, treatment and what-have-you. But specifically mentioning it as Colonoscopies just tickled me. It's just so specific and raises many questions in my head. Like does gymnastics do something to your body that renders you more susceptible to issues in that area for example. It's just... well...

Yes, the use of muscles deteriorate them in the long run because cells die and there is a limit on how many times the surrounding ones can split to replace dead ones, although in the case of athletes it compensates because the new structures are more resistant than the old ones.
As a gymnast your internal organs and connective tissue are getting a lot of wear and tear they are not supposed to get, which does not compound well with the previous fact.
But the most likely situation is that, since athletes also take a lot of drugs, it damages their digestive track, so I guess it's good to get a camera up your ass every now and then to make sure everything is fine.

My mother took me and my siblings to see it when it came out. She read the book so
she thought it would be ok. I still remember her frantically trying to cover 6 eyes with
two hands. i'm thinking i was around 10 years old

2 Questions.
1. To which of the 3 Comic books are you referring? "Moon Knight", "Resurrection Man", or "Hitman"?
2. I'm not sure how to send you links to or for Comic Books. I know you can torrent some of them, but maybe someone actually knows where you can read them on-line?

Yeah, he in particular is not easy to write. I liked more the supernatural/dark aspect of his stories. He also has a cool setting and supporting characters; Frenchie, Marlene and Flint. And he is more in the street level power. I like that kind of heroes more than the mega-super powered ones.

A LOT of what he could and couldn't do was always kinda vague...
Like you said it depended on who was doing the writing.
I agree with the "street-level power" a hero who can do everything and is immune to damn near everything (except pretty rocks and magic) get kinda boring after a while.

If I'm in that mode, yeah, just watch. That's why I don't have troubles with NTR in manga, I'm not projecting myself in the characters of the story, just enjoying what is happening. In games is different, because the game forces the impersonation.
