True enough, but the price doesn't match the discount, reports are that P4 is kind of in flux and may be a bit less of a thing right now, and I'm earning enough interest that I want to jack up my balance a bit more so that I have something left to keep earning interest on when I do buy.

The discount has been running a week, so I'm kind of taking my chances that it will stick around while the P4 stuff is still in flux, or that the next time one comes around, I'll be better positioned. I'm going to join the club, but I also want to earn some coin so maybe I can join in on some philanthropy and also be slightly better positioned for the next thing that comes along.

The discounts were originally a 24 hour thing, but they seemed to stretch at times to 36/48/72. This is the longest I've seen one running, which makes me think it has something to do with the shit that hit the fan last week. But that's just wild speculation - not a Mod or anything official here.
