I'm not sure that matters. Many can be filthy animals and still navigate the internet. Just look at all the blue-checks on Twitter

Well Rugby has at least three different rulesets (Union, League, and Sevens), so you're going to learn quite a few things.

Yes, I've discovered that I may need to watch some videos to supplement the written descriptions.

Fun fact, Defending Lydia Collier (a great game with plenty of kinks) has a rugby match in the early stages of the game. By playing, I did learn that it's easy to get a concussion playing rugby ;-p
