I saw many great games untranslated. Even translation request doesn't fill them up. It'd be great if we had them here.

there are only a very few translators here (2 maybe) and no way in the world they are going to translate 20,000 titles be themselves for free especially when they are getting picked up & sold for year cash on other sites.

That is true. But can't we have a separate zone where these apps can be put. With those shorten link sites. Then they can make money from the adds and we all can enjoy something.

i can only suggest that you become a translator & uploader

there are translators that have the tools they use in their sigline

Sora, bendythenoob, and I are the only ones here who have translated games...And I’ve done most of the translating, For several reasons, I can't longer take on that much work anymore... Translators are generally very rare, even on fuck95, and the few they did have got banned for Rule 7 violations.

But if you like, you can become a translator yourself and take on the work.

Thank you soo much for doing so . Being a student and all doesn't even leave me with proper time to sleep. But weekends are coming soon and I'd love to try some translating work.

Oh nice! Translator++ was super useful when I used it, but now with the dev version and language models?? That's something else...

I disagree. I would never touch an untranslated game, badly translated games still get a pass. English is not my native language anyway
With the help of AI and some revision on generated dialogue, I though we must have more translated games than ever right?

I'd never touch an untranslated game. It might as well be all gibberish as I wouldn't know what it said. Besides which, Japanese games are all cartoons which automatically adds them to the "no" list. And also censored - another big no.

as someone who used to translate light novels as a hobby. Even with AI help, you still need to proofread it. Sure, AI translation is better than machine translation, but it still misses a lot of context. For me the hard part is making the translation match the context.
