1970s punk. They never got very big but influenced a LOT of bands that did get big from the late 70s to 90s.

White Stripes and Jack White in general are easily my favorites. But pretty much anything alt and punk are up my alley. Also like some heavier stuff like System of a Down or Slipknot.

Never got very big!? Think everyone and their mom has at least heard Blitzkrieg Bop and I Wanna Be Sedated at least in passing.
