So, the other day, I was watching a TikTok of a stand-up comic roasting Canada - while in Canada - who had this great one-liner.

"The Hawaiian pizza was invented in Canada. Congrats on the only war you ever started."

Also, Republican Bear, couldn't agree more. Pineapple on pizza is borderline criminal.

I don't get the memes about anyone giving a shit about pineapple on pizza - fine if you don't like a sweet cooked fruit - but no one actually cares either way.

I used to agree with the pineapple pizza thing until my friend got a bacon pulled pork pineapple spicy pepper pizza with bbq sauce instead of marinara. I got pineapple-pilled.

My agreement with Republican Bear is partially tongue-in-cheek. Personally, I think it's nasty. But I'm a big "you do you" believer, so for those who like it, eat whatever you enjoy. I just found the signature line humorous, had just seen that TikTok, and my friends regularly engage in this debate (like literally hear this discussion probably at least once a month).

Pineapple on pizza can be great, so can most things... But if I'm expecting a pizza and I find a bacon, pulled pork, pineapple pizza shaped snack, I'd be disappointed, it's quite simply not exactly pizza any more

A steak, is a steak, if you add whipped cream on it, it's still a steak, but it's not exactly what I had in mind if I wanted a steak. I just like a pizza as a simple cheesy bread snack, add too much on it, it's an open sandwich

I like my sandwich to have more filling and less bread. But isn't it still a sandwich?

If four toppings is too much for you to the point that it's no longer a pizza, then that's a you thing. Doesn't change the fact that it's pizza. My local pizzeria here is real good, in fact ima order some right now. Artichoke, prosciutto, pearl onions, confit garlic, pesto sauce w/ a burrata on top.

I wouldn't go out of my way to order it myself but I think I'd prefer pineapple on pizza over some more traditional toppings like anchovies or olives or something.
During a stay in northern Europe I found out that their favorite type of pizza is topped with thinly sliced Kebab meat and some kind of yogurt sauce. Pretty banging, no idea how that hasn't become a thing in other parts of the world yet.

It really depends on my mood. Sometimes, a simple NY style pizza with just pepperoni is the best thing in the world. Other times, I want a pizza with all the meats, mushrooms, garlic, basil, and some pepperoncini on the side.

Not gonna lie, the idea of some confit garlic and pesto on a pizza does sound pretty good...

Are you playing D4? I've heard it has really improved, but I haven't went back. I did really enjoy the story and cinematics at least

D4 has improved some, but I mostly played the base game before so I am finally going through the expansions.
