Oh, how quickly we all forget the pre-DVR TV-watching era. Sure, there were VCRs, but standard-def was hard enough to watch even without degrading the quality further...
Dnd is awesome with the right group of people. Especially if the DM has a sense of humor or is willing to bend the rules to drive the narrative.

That was for a half hour or full hour (minus commercials) show, Which even now is over 2o minutes/40 minutes actual show. This is for like a 10 minute video - and always for something I'd never use. Commercials were always bathroom/get beer time but on Youtube it's not long enough for that but too long to sit through.

I agree. Me and a bunch of close friends would play weekly and it was always a blast, we even managed to convince a few others, that were haters at first, to enjoy it.

it's 65F / 18C in my home, walking out the front door is like standing next to a camp fire
I'm jealous, there's no AC where I live and the homes were built to retain heat so even at night it's like 30C indoors, making it impossible to fall asleep.

I'm aware, but it's unfortunately not worth the cost and effort when I'm only renting this place for a short while. I'll just have to rely on the good ol' floor fan.
