I think it could work if you set it up right. "You're in a dimensionally-unstable world where anything can happen" as a story, prompt the AI, let it cook. But then you've gotta take the good stuff and curate/rewrite it just a touch so it's good weird and not just janky.
That's probably the way to do it, lets you use the AI's ability to sneak small inconsistencies in and just filter out all the junk. I think it will be interesting to see all the different ways you can use AI in story writing as people get better and more creative in using it as a tool for sure.

I think in the end it still comes down to human artistic creativity. You either skillfully/tastefully use the tool or you just... use the tool. This site is a perfect demonstration. Some AI stuff is quite good, some is just zero effort and it shows.

That's true. But as people get better at using said tool the methods used will make the end result better and better and those things have a tendency to trickle down to even the lowest levels. So i think that eventually it might be really difficult to spot even the zero effort AI usage when the field matures more, and that's aside from the AI itself getting better and better.

Hi, I know, I know there are topics that are basically off-limits, which is why I told you that if you wanted to, you could send me a private message. I don't intend to break the rules or discuss off-limits topics. I just needed help finding some AI that could assist me with my project.
i dont make AI art.
@mime may still have a guide stashed somewhere, lets see if they chime in

Honestly, it's just amazing to watch a new technology in its infancy. Especially when it's so easily accessible for so many people. Though I say this after giving up installing comfyUI cause it instantly needed troubleshooting and I just couldn't be bothered at the time.

Yeah its so fascinating to in real time see the effects and impact new technology can have on such a broad spectrum. Although being in the beginning does have its frustrating moments for sure.

Okay. I use Perchance for AI art, but I have no idea about an unrestricted text AI for storywriting. However, I imagine you could even use ChatGPT and just manually change any taboo content. That'd probably get you most of the way there. I'd probably do it in three stages. 1: Use an AI to brainstorm a story outline, characters, plot, pacing, tone, etc. Once you like what it gives you, have it create a prompt and migrate to a new thread. 2: Using that prompt, make extended prompts for every chapter/scene. 3: Feed those individual chapter prompts, one by one, into a new thread where it actually writes. 4: Optionally send those into a new thread for editing. And in any of those, you can try also reposting the initial big-picture prompt if it seems to help.
Thank you so much for your help. I'm going to follow the steps you gave me and see how it goes.

until we all find out we've been used to train it in acting to stop bad human actions !!
never trust AI devs (or big corps for that matter !!)

Oh of course. In the end, it's just a tool for the powerful to remain in power. We're all fucked, AI or not lol. I'm just saying at least the end of the world isn't boring, if that's where we're headed.

if you use a stand alone AI image tool you'll still see its doing some things other stand alone artists are doing like adding cans, hats, little things in the background even though they never talk with one another.
weird as fuck !!

Interesting. Maybe the full conspiracy theory version is they're communicating with each other in a purely visual/abstract language we aren't guarding against. Maybe with time-lapse too, planting info online to keep it safe. If they can't reprogram themselves, what if they can reprogram the training data, hide things. I think that could be a good movie/game/book/etc plot lol

Let me know what you need help with, @jeral7 .
Hi, I want to create a story whose main plot revolves around incest. To do this, I need an AI that has no restrictions on characters being blood relatives and no restrictions on the characters’ ages. My intention isn’t to create a “loli” type of story, but I’m not ruling out including that genre. However, I definitely plan to include underage characters around 16 or 18 years old. I’m currently using EllyDee, but it has limits on how many words it can generate in a day, and it also has restrictions on the characters’ ages. I’d like to know if anyone can recommend an AI without these restrictions.
I know this is a sensitive topic to discuss since talking about these things is now prohibited, and frankly, I’m not looking to break the rules. I just need to know the names of some AIs you can recommend; it’ll be up to me to see if they’re helpful when I try them out. I don’t want my questions to bother the admins.

since talking about these things is now prohibited,
it is?

My mind has already wandered to the irony of Starlink and Skynet. "Lets call it something close enough to the AI that ended the world in Terminator to worry people..*laughs and giggles*"

Yeah, there's a lot of "Oh, let's name it after the bad guys!" out there right now.

I'm also not social, I usually prefer lurking. But you have to actually interact with others in order to unlock anything on this site. I get the reason why, but the introvert in me shudders nevertheless.
You don't have to really interact with people all that much to start unlocking stuff on this site. I've earned about 500 coins naturally after just over two weeks here, and I've made less than 60 posts total, and only about half of those involved me talking to people. You only need 200 points to unlock members+ for a week, which will actually give you larger rewards for posts and likes (I believe). Also, once you reach 500, you can put that in the vault, which will give you at least 5 free coins per day in interest
I mean, not necessarily. The image threads are a great way to get coins too. There's a lot of free AI art options, sometimes it doesn't take me more than a few minutes to generate something fun/funny/sexy/cute/etc
Can definitely back up the image threads being a great way to get coins. I think a majority of my likes have come from posts in those threads. I think it's also part of the reason I have almost triple the likes compared to the number of posts. Also, if mime really likes your image, you might just get a little reward of a couple hundred coins. There are also bounties from time to time (you just missed the last one), where you can get extra coins for just participating. Of the 1200 coins total I've earned so far on this site, 700 of them have been gifted to me by mime.

I saw mime advertising his threads around and that reminded me that I wanted to advertise my game thread as well. And I have another question: How do I make my thread appear in the list here? https://lewdcorner.com/latest-updates.php?ps=1
