I have not because I have read a sample and it appears to ramble a bit. Both books are on my reading list though.

I did and I actually enjoyed it. It's not the next Lord of the Rings, not even close, but it was a decently fun and quick read with enough of a plot justification for the pop culture references that it didn't break my suspension of disbelief. from what I know of the movie, it's significantly worse in basically every way.

Also, I cannot sing the praises for Project Hail Mary enough. Best hard science fiction novel I have ever read hands down. Better than Enders Game.

I almost started reading the light novels until I found out that he's basically just wrapping up the story to be done with it and have announced what the last volume will be and I just can't believe it's enough time for there to be a satisfying wrap up to everything that's happened so far. The anime's not even all that far behind.

The anime is so fucking good but on a recent rewatch I feel like there's maybe some weird sticking points that might keep people from really getting into it. It's hard for me to tell though because I recognize that the show scratches an itch for me that means I can't be objective about it.

Yeah, I know there's a lot more content in the light novels but from what I've heard it's not stuff that's advancing the plot or getting things tied up and closer to a resolution so it's still the same issue of not enough space in the few volumes left to get all that done in a way that I would personally find satisfying. I could be wrong about that and maybe they've got a killer fuckin' idea that's gonna blow my tits off but I'm just not willing to invest in that possibility before the last volume is out. It's a lot easier for me to deal with whatever kind of ending a thing has if I don't have to sit around and wait for it without even knowing how long it'll be.

Well, after losing some ranks, coins, My Avatar and pretty much everything else, I guess I’ll have to start farming engagement around here again


As for another solid recommendation, if you’re into MMO-style worlds with deep systems, I’d strongly suggest Log Horizon. It goes heavy on game mechanics, guild politics, economy, skills, and how players actually adapt when the game becomes reality. The MMO jargon and world logic are incredibly well thought out, especially compared to most “generic isekai” stuff.


Definitely worth checking out if you liked Overlord’s approach to game systems.

its kinda like a seedbox or sorts, basically it downloads the torrent and makes it available to you at through direct download on their site. but with stremio it makes it where you can just watch the movies instantly with no load time.

One of the things I like about the free streaming service like Tubi or fawesome tv is even though they fill there service with a bunch of junk there also movies or shows I likely never would of found without them.
