That is exactly why I never sign my organ donation thing. I look at it and think "what would I do if I was a doctor and a perfect match for my rich patient showed up at the hospital for something minor?" I do not consider myself particularly corrupt -- but I after a phone call to my rich patient I would be harvesting that kid. These are all good. I actually laughed at the "first in space" part.

I don't think super-rich people are a problem in isolation, but I read a description recently saying something like this:

Once you have a certain amount of money, you can never spend or lose it all. At that point money just becomes an extension of your will, and since there is no longer a limit to that will, ethics and morals also lose meaning.

I just think that if you have enough money that you could overthrow a government because you're bored and want to, that's probably too much.

When are we scheduling the next peasant uprising?

That's a good point -- but running over just a million nets you a trillion dollars so I would think you could just take some losses of your core support group. Or - considering who the hell has time for that - you could hire some folks to pre screen the likely victims and pull out your heroes .

Tho, would prob let it get, at minimum, 1~5.
