I am more worried about they will program the self driving cars which will have to decide who lives or dies in an emergency like run over pedestrians to save the riders or let the riders die to save the pedestrians.
The Classic trolley problem. Of course it will depend on how self driving cars really develop overall haha

Even without a financial reason, something like an AI might decide it's better to let someone die because their organs could save several people and make life better for several more (things like corneas, etc.)

There are ways to avoid that in programming, but then someone can remove that safeguard, and then we have Skynet.

I look at it and think "what would I do if I was a doctor and a perfect match for my rich patient showed up at the hospital for something minor?" These are all good. I actually laughed at the "first in space" part.

I don't think super-rich people are a problem in isolation, but I read a description recently saying something like this:

Once you have a certain amount of money, you can never spend or lose it all. At that point money just becomes an extension of your will, and since there is no longer a limit to that will, ethics and morals also lose meaning.

I just think that if you have enough money that you could overthrow a government because you're bored and want to, that's probably too much.

When are we scheduling the next peasant uprising?

That's a good point -- but running over just a million nets you a trillion dollars so I would think you could just take some losses of your core support group. Or - considering who the hell has time for that - you could hire some folks to pre screen the likely victims and pull out your heroes .

Tho, would prob let it get, at minimum, 1~5.
