1 Year of Service
i would not recommend it to anyone and recommend it to everyone // edit: it almost broke me in the first years (i started a couple months before covid)Lol yeah, good luck with that venture. I know independent contractors or self-employed can make their own hours, but from what I've seen horror story wise, it usually means spending more time suffering on the job than the rest of us.
I don't envy your position there. BUTTTT you do have the potential of making more money than i ever could being a corporate drone if you get enough clients.
That and no bosses to suck up to is a nice touch.
In college some of my classmates acted like self-employed was like going on an adventure. No dude, you are not Bilbo Baggins.

I've had family members try to varying levels of success. All of them said how hard it was to do. Years later i have been told this by friends who tried the self-employed or getting their own business route

currently im doing all by myself (besides taxes
BUT i did not go broke during covid AND if i increase my income by about 20% i can get my first employee and start the process of gradually transferring responsibility until im "free" (kinda)
