Oblivion is super fun and if you liked skyrim ,you'll enjoy it a lot plus it has lots mods already to make it more entertaining.

If there is a mod that turns it into Morrowind I'd recommend that. If not just play Morrowind instead.

I highly recommend you get mods to fix leveled items. Oblivion was my favorite game for ages and still the most memorable thing about it was the tedium of leveling up before grabbing unique rewards so you don't get stuck with low level versions

Personally I've been playing Fallout 4 using the "A storywealth" mod collection from Nexus. Works pretty good so far. Surprisingly few crashes for having around900 mods in it, even fewer than the normal game suprisingly.
