Stealing that for my collection -- Thank you!
That is why we have better ways of keeping you here than mere shackles
Not a whole lot. Working and dealing with my knee. Been hurting for about a week now.

Don't worry about that -- If there is money to be made -- the Card Companies will be there. That is why it is often called a "Hallmark Holiday" Just another excuse to separate you from your money.
You should never make plans on what the weather is supposed to do.
The commercialization of Valentine's Day can be traced back to trends started by influential corporations and producers. One of the earliest examples dates back to 1861, when notable chocolatier Richard Cadbury launched the “fancy box” campaign. From heart-shaped candy to jewelry, this extreme holiday-driven consumerism is proving to have lasting effects on the environment and people's relationships with materialistic gift giving. Valentine's Day is the second largest materialistic holiday and is a massive contributor to consumerism.
I just played through MGS 1-3 for the first time a couple of months ago. It's a great series. I distracted myself from the The Phantom Pain with Ghost of Tsushima, but plan on getting back to it soon. I know it's kind of lame but I've been watching Metal Girl Solid on YouTube lately and I recommend it to anyone who has played the original Metal Gear.
Fine. I feel like I'm a minion
Welp, gone be gone again for some hours.
Bye everyone, see you all later!
stoic! Slum-tastic?
And I did have a good day, hope you had/have one as well!
Want me to go lock the thread?
I did, it was okay, finally got to see just a tiny bit of the new Digimon game.
Welp, off to bed a little earlier than usual.
Bye everyone, have a good rest of your day/night!
See you all tomorrow!
Maybe you should make an appointment with @Evil Surgeon - It is so great to have such a skilled doctor on staff here. I think there is only one guy with a simple procedure ahead of you in line
I completely agree, but since every holiday in the US has become an obligatory consumer experience it's hard to care about any of their individual corruptions. At this point we should drop all of the names and just refer to them as Amazon day 1-12.
So I've watched the entirety of Neon Genesis Evangelion in one go now and I feel like I got brain damage somewhere between the end of the show and the 3rd movie. Is the entire thing just an anti-autist propaganda piece?
But honestly I'm glad I finally watched it. Over the years I tried to watch it 3-4 times and always stopped somewhere between episode 6-10. But now that it's finished I have to say very mid.
Yes I said it, Evangelion is mid.
Women love their consumerism
From what I've heard, the people in the midwest stay as far away as possible from afro-anything.

It's everyone -- Father's day and St Patrick's day are not female biased but are still commercially based.
It is like Real Estate -- location location location -- Iowa?, Missouri? Illinois anywhere south of Peoria? Indiana? -- Hell yes. I remember in my 20s traveling with a black friend where he was not allowed in a restaurant in Indiana. Thankfully a lot of that thinking has eased -- but it is still there. I bought my house 35 years ago - in the original deed it stated that no one could own a home site in this development unless they were white. That part is thankfully ignored now -- but the wording is still in there. If you are not white? you can still climb the ladder of success -- but you start a whole lot further down that ladder than a lot of people realize.
Never really could get past the first few episodes. I like the whole mecha vs esoteric incomprehensible entities bit, but the psychological drama bit just bores me too much.
