I'm a bit of a music nerd, but more wide than deep with knowledge. Love stuff like this.
And yea, top lists are subjective. I have my top 5 80's albums that probably don't match other people's.

When it comes to rankings there are some factors that are objectives. When speaking of music you can take into consideration legacy, influence, innovation and so on.
It's making an exact ranking that is silly and only good for clicks. I mean, which album is better, Jimi Hendrix's Are you Experienced, Grateful Dead's Live/Dead or Miles' Bitches Brew? (Yes, I'm obsessed with the 60s). Each of those had an incredible impact on music history for different reasons.
From a different perspective, you can tell that the Monkees were fun, but would never belong in any top list (they were Beatles knock off, thery did not play on their records and so on).
To sum it up, IMHO you can make a list but not a ranking when it comes to music or art in general.

And Neil Pert (R.I.P.) was amazing.

Everybody in Rush is fucking amazing. Even if Alex Lifeson gets somehow overshadowed by his colleagues in the public eye (not mine).

Embed got blocked. I'd love to hear it, it's so cool when a solo does that.

Bonus. Classic video on "musical harmony rules". A masterful lesson on how our brain loves repetition and familiar patterns when it comes to listening.

less the ABV, the more you can drink before passing out ;)

That's one of the reasons I love low ABV beers/ales

a guinness does go nicely with a good steak, any stout does nicely too. puts a nice cap on the fats of the steak to meld the flavor in.

I would rather have a nice sour if I'm looking for a change of pace. every once in a while I do find an IPA I like, but any double-triple IPA is too much hops.

I follow you with Irish dry stouts and meat, but the more chocolatey (is that a word?) velvety ones I like to pair with desserts.
With stews or fatty meat, Sours and belgian Dubbels/Tripels are king for me. As for double IPAs, the only ones I really enjoy are Chouffe Houblon tastealikes. I find that belgian yeast flavours combined with a tripel maltiness are the perfect counterpart to heavy hopping.

give me a hefeweisen over anything. a nice traditional German lager will work too

Not a fan of weissbeer (too much banana) or wheat beer in general but I will have a Leipziger Gose or a Berliner Weisse any day. And a Rauchbeer with any smoked meat.

Hello NightStalker19!
Welcome to the thread, take a moment to read through the very first post of the thread.
Then come back here and, well, I would say talk to us, but we're kinda in a slow time right now. :p

Welp -- for every cat there is a recipe

We share recipes -- and trade off making trips to the Chinese animal markets for --- errrr - "produce"

There are good Adobo recipes......haha

What with this sudden cat eaters epidemic?

Good read. The author name is wrong. It's been written by Sarya, wise catgirl, librarian and historian and @StephanieD, investigative journalist.

A must have for catgirls!

There was a Creepypasta some years back of Alien from the cat's point of view. He fought it that it ran away, and it doing so kept it from taking in more of the ships metal, which would have made it unstoppable.

Listen to smart women, to cats and even more to wise catgirls.

Aliens similar except the cat wasn't brought there that time. Note the little girl and robot died at the very start of the (rather awful) Alien 3. In the way a robot can "die." The prequel to Alien sucked. Haven't watched Romulus yet and hope it doesn't suck. Sigourney Weaver won't be in it as she's an old lady now and her character would have been a little girl at the time, if that.
