I keep assuring myself that I'll either make a new main base or redo my starting base with nice foundations and floors instead of everything being spaghetti. I'm now coming up on being done with Phase 3 and that plan is still at the bottom of my to-do list.

Honestly until you get up to oil, or trains you don't need to rebuild as long as your factories are running.

The thing that matter most imo is your storage area is well organized

I have went back and rebuilt factories so many times to make more efficient, better layouts, etc. Honestly one of the biggest updates I read about in the 1.0 update is the 90 degree turns making your belts so much better.
